1 How many? Where would they be put? How much do they cost? Where will the city be getting the money from?
1 Why are you spending money in this instead if on reducing poverty or something more useful for the population?
1 How much will it cost? Will my taxes be increased? Will this be disruptive during the day or night when they are being planted? Will I have to help care for them?
1 How expensive the project is and if the current way they are conducting the project is also the most efficient way.
1 How many, where, what plants, who owns them, who will take care of them, what effect will they have (facts)?
1 What are the types of trees and plants? What is the effect of them in other ways besides rain? If the project is a failure, what will people do to remove the plants?
1 What are the benefits do absorbing rain? Does this prevent harmful chemicals from entering bodies of water such as streams lakes and rivers?
1 Specifically towards the Seattle area, how can more trees help when there is already such a high density of trees?
1 Where would they go? Who is paying for the land they would be planted on and who is paying for the plants?
1 My neighbors would be mad because the trees would block the view of lake Washington and decrease their home value.
1 Will it cost people money to do this? Will it ruin the view of my house, thereby decreasing the value of my property? What kind of plants would you plant?
1 How are you paying for this? Where are you getting all these plants? Where is there room for these plants? How long will it take for all the plants to be in place?
1 Would their roots break into the foundation of our homes? How large would these trees grow to be? Would their roots destroy roads and other objects?
1 Where would the trees be planted and how would they be funded? Also, will the trees or gardens interfere with electrical lines or traffic if trees were to fall down?
1 Will this cost me anything? Is something many people would ask but I wouldn't mind because it is worth it.
1 How much will it help, since we already have a lot of plants, and would it be better to use these elsewhere?
1 How would they affect the environment and existing wildlife in the area? Good or bad for ecosystem
1 Is the amount of rain falling really so much that we would even need a renovation like this? Where would the new plants go?
1 How it would effect us. What types of plants. Where the money spent on plants is coming from. Who is going to care for the plant gardens or new trees. Where.
1 If we do not have space for native plants due to non-native plants we have, are you just going to clear out the non-native plants?
1 Where is the money coming to grow and maintain these trees? Who is responsible if the tree damages a house or falls over in a storm?
1 Would these be beneficial enough to our neighborhood that we could spend the money needed for them?
1 I don't have space to have these trees or I already have to many trees around my house. What now?
1 During a windstorm, would the plants / trees be in areas where there is a high risk that if the tree fell, it would likely fall through someone's home?
1 How much water such plants were using. They would also have to answer to the public the positive impact of the new plants.
1 Where are the funds coming from? Will it be a volunteer effort or will contractors be hired? What is the timeframe?
1 Are we putting them on residential property and how can the residents volunteer for the plantation?
1 Why aren't we taking care of our environment in the first place? If we have evidence that most things in the environment keeps us alive, how closed minded do people have to be to not take care of the environment that keeps us alive!!??
1 The percentage of budget money being put into the project and it's priority over other environmental concerns
1 Bow mucho world it cost to plant and mantain these trees? What would we have to do to preserve them?
1 Where would the trees be placed and would they cause any problems for natural rain run offs for plants
1 -what is the cost -where would they be placed to ensure safety -what could be the negative effects -what is the required maintenance -who will complete the required maintenance
1 How/where would they be planted? Where is the money funding the trees coming from? Are the trees optional? How would the trees help me as a citizen? Who is planting the trees?
1 Where would the native plants be planted? How soon would this happen? What would these impact?
1 How would it affect current plant growth/ecosystems? When would the plants be planted? What kind of plants are used? What is the spacial extent of the project?
1 How much will this cost? Will the city maintain the gardens and trees at least four times a year?
1 How would these plants and trees help the environment?Where would these plants and trees be located?
1 I expect the city to answer if they will do this in other neighborhoods also so they can benefit too.
1 Where would these native plant gardens be located? Would the be protected to prevent animals from eating them? Or would the plants be usable for humans and animals alike? Would the city maintain these gardens or would they be maintained by the communities citizens?
1 Would these trees come in the form of parks, planted along the roadside, or in sidewalks? I think that having more trees where they are in everyday view would be most beneficial, so that people can enjoy nature even if they do not have time to visit parks. Puget Doubd already has a great deal of parks and national parks, so I believe efforts should be focused on brining trees into urban areas, and possibly suburbs.
